The UK Holiday Group Quiz Night Raises Over £500 for Charity!

On the 27th June, the UK Holiday Group staff got together for a charity quiz night and raffle to raise funds for this year’s chosen charity, The Silver Line, the UK’s only 24-hour FREE, confidential helpline for vulnerable and isolated older people, open every day and night of the year.

6 teams took part in a battle of the brains to be crowned quiz champions. There were 12 rounds covering popular subjects like music, history, famous people, general knowledge and sport. Money was raised by entering a team and buying raffle tickets with some fun prizes on offer, including a day cruise on the Norfolk Broads.

Thanks to the UK Holiday Group Charity Partnership ‘Match It’ fund, the grand total raised on the evening was £539, all of which will go to The Silver Line charity to support the fantastic work they do.

HR Manager, Nicki Beevis said, “It was a really fun night, very competitive and we are thrilled to have raised this money for a well-deserving charity. We look forward to finding more ways to raise money and awareness throughout the rest of the year.”
