MACMILLAN CHARITY BAKE SALE AT THE UK HOLIDAY GROUP

SWEET SMELLS FROM THE OLD BAKERY!

With plates piled high with delicious homemade bakes and plenty of sweet treats to enjoy, our Macmillan charity bake sale proved to be a truly sweet success!

In memory of cherished colleagues and loved ones, and in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, the team at the UK Holiday Group joined together for our very own Coffee Morning, held a little earlier than the nationwide event this year.

The annual Macmillan Coffee Morning brings communities across the country together with one shared goal  – raising vital funds to support people living with cancer.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and enthusiasm of our amazing staff, we raised a fantastic £222 in just one morning!

Charity Ambassador Lyn Arnold said:

“We remembered dearly departed colleagues and loved ones we have sadly lost, as well as those who are currently battling this cruel disease. The money we raised will go towards supporting the incredibly important work that Macmillan does, and we would like to thank everyone who baked, donated and supported our event.”

For generations, Macmillan Cancer Support has been there for people affected by cancer, providing essential support, advice and comfort when it is needed most. Their much-loved Coffee Morning continues to be a simple but powerful way for people and communities to come together and make a real difference.
