HR & Facilities Manager

After completing my Travel and Tourism studies in King’s Lynn back in 1990 I joined The UK Holiday Group in the Reservations Department, however I quickly took an interest in the Operations division, where I worked for three years before taking some time out to raise my family.

I returned in 1996 and my role progressed into HR & Facilities Management and I love the different daily challenges I have to address. I’m a real people person, so Human Resources is a natural fit for my personality and plays to my key strengths and abilities.

I.T. Manager

I joined The UK Holiday Group in 2002 and have implemented and overseen a number of positive progressions to the infrastructure of technology used throughout the business, including the external Hotels we own.

As I am only in the office two days a week we also use the additional support of an external I.T. management supplier to help with the day-to-day niggles that occur in any business, but the crux of my role is to maintain safe and up-to-date systems to streamline our business structure both here at Head Office and at each of the hotels in the Grand UK Hotels Group.
