I first joined the company back in 2004 aged 18, following a work experience placement during my time studying Tourism & Travel at City College in Norwich, as a Reservations Sales Administrator.

Since then I have worked hard to progress my career and I am now the manager of our busy Reservations Centre. It’s the heart of our business and I am exceptionally proud of the team I have in place who work tirelessly to make sure all our clients receive first-class service when they contact us and give the best advice about our holidays and services

Melissa Wilson

Reservations Team Leader

After moving from The Netherlands in 1994, I joined The UK Holiday Group in 2011 as part of the Reservations Team and have worked hard to progress my career.

I have travelled most of the world and have a rich history working in the Travel and Tourism industry. I work closely with the Reservations Manager  to ensure the smooth running of the busy day-to-day of our department. I also get involved with proof reading of our regular marketing materials, especially where the advertising of our Dutch holidays is concerned!

Maxine Harvey

Senior Reservations

I Joined UKHG in December 2017 as Receptionist, and have recently been promoted to Senior Reservations.

My day-to-day duties include supporting Helen and Melissa with the running of a busy department, taking holiday bookings and making sure admin is all up-to-date and correct.

My previous work history was focused around the financial sector, but travel has always been a huge passion of mine, so working in the travel industry was always my dream job.

I Joined UKHG in December 2017 as Receptionist, and have recently been promoted to Senior Reservations.

I’ve been with The UK Holiday Group for more than 17 years and returned to a part-time position after having my daughter in 2010.

The main focus of my role is administration and I am solely responsible for ensuring all paper work is correct and present with regards to our two Grand UK Holidays
sub-brands, Coach Miles and The UK Travel Club.

Before joining The UK Holiday Group in 2015 I worked at Norwich Airport and have always been passionate about the travel industry. Prior to starting a career in Tourism and Travel I also worked in the catering sector, so customer service has always been crucial in my work history.

I assist the team with the daily administration tasks and with taking calls to aid our clients with queries and holiday bookings.

I worked in retail for many years and prior to joining the Reservations Department at The UK Holiday Group I spent 14 years working in customer service for a well-known Supermarket.

I have always loved to travel so was keen to move into the industry to help incorporate my passion with my job. Assisting with the day-to-day admin as well as taking calls from our clients, and helping them plan their perfect holiday, is incredibly satisfying.

I’ve always loved to travel and so was delighted when I came to work for The UK Holiday Group in 2015 where I get to combine my hobby with my career.

Along with helping with the regular administration of the team regarding holiday bookings and cancellations, I also take calls from our clients and assist them with bookings or giving them information about our many holiday offerings.
