The UK Charity Partnership was set up to support and encourage The UK Holiday Group (UKHG) staff and their families to raise money for a wide range of charitable causes.
By pledging to match the fundraising efforts of UKHG staff and their families, up to preagreed limits, The UK Charity Partnership aims to turn the annual £10,000 company donation into at least £20,000 of real money that can be distributed to charitable organisations.
If you currently work for The UK Holiday Group, and either you or a direct family member has an idea on how to raise money for a UK registered charity, you can apply to see if you qualify for ‘Match-It’ support. Each year The UK Holiday Group Limited donates £10,000 into The UK Charity Partnership, so you really don’t have anything to lose!
Choose a cause that you feel passionately about and The UK Charity Partnership will match your own fundraising efforts pound for pound, up to a set prearranged amount! For example, if you raise £250 for your charity, we’ll add another to make the total up to £500! With the support of The UK Holiday Group you can really make a difference for your chosen charity. The members of The UK Charity Partnership Executive Committee meet on a regular basis throughout the year to consider requests for charity funding. Committee members have a broad range of interests and are eager to consider application for funding which supports a similarly broad range of worthy organisations and good causes. The UK Charity Partnership considers all registered charities for the ‘Match-It’ incentive, but have made a long term allegiance with The Silver Line. The Silver Line are the only UK charity with a 24 hour, 365 days a year freephone helpline to provide support for lonely older people.
