Grand UK adds new British breaks to website

Grand UK Holidays has added eight new UK holidays to its range, in addition to 29 fresh British tour options which were unveiled in its summer 2013 brochure.

The new five-day escorted tours are featured on www.grandukholidays.com and comprise ‘singles specials’ to Cardiff, the Cotswolds (pictured) and Yorkshire; plus ‘Supersavers’ to Northumberland, the North West, the Midlands and Yorkshire. Prices are from £189pp.

Sales director Harold Burke said adding fresh holidays on the website means Grand UK can respond to booking trends and take advantage of good deals to pass onto customers.

“We are seeing growing demand for solos holidays, and people also like to bag a bargain, as they can get away on a whim without worrying about work – so we’ve added to our singles and supersavers ranges to cater for this,” he said.

He said domestic holidays were seeing a great deal of promotion across the UK, such as the string of campaigns run by VisitEngland since January.

“We’re very lucky here to have such a wealth of tourism attractions on our doorstep, from the rugged mountain scenery of Scotland and Wales, to the beautiful landscapes of Kent – and we’re blessed with castles, stately homes and historic monuments,” he said

“Thanks to the sheer diversity and number of attractions in the UK, holidaymakers can enjoy a range of different experiences within even a short break.”
