Festive tours are golden opportunity

Grand UK Holidays has unveiled a new Christmas markets tour in advance of its 2012-13 festive/winter brochure, which is due out next month.

 

The over-55s specialist has seen its upmarket ‘Gold’coach tours selling very well since they were unveiled last autumn, and now the newest addition to the ‘Gold’ programme has been released: Berlin & the Harz Mountains Christmas Markets.

 

The seven-day escorted tour visits the Christmas markets in Berlin and Wernigerode, which takes place in one of the most picturesque settings in the Harz region.

The centrepiece of the Wernigerode Christmas market is a 10m tall Christmas tree lighting up the square in front of the 15th Century town hall (pictured).

The holiday departs on 25th November and costs £439pp.
